SINGLES - Nadal Wins Historic 10th Monte-Carlo Title
Spaniard achieves history in the Principality
Rafael Nadal captured an incredible 10th Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters crown on Sunday in beating fellow Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-1, 6-3 in the 76-minute final. Nadal's 29th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title, one shy of record-holder Novak Djokovic (30), marks the first time in the Open Era (since April 1968) that any man has won a singles tournament on 10 occasions.
The victory also sees Nadal clinch his 50th clay-court crown (50-8), breaking the record he shared with Guillermo Vilas since 24 April 2016, when Nadal lifted his ninth trophy at the Barcelona Open Banco Sabadell.
"It really is unbelievable," said Nadal. "To win 10 times at such an important event like Monte-Carlo is something difficult to describe my feelings. Every year has been a different feeling. At the same time it is always a unique moment, every time, I have this trophy with me. [Of course] there is a little bit of luck, lot of things coming together to win this 10th title in an event like Monte-Carlo.
"I feel lucky to keep playing tennis [and] being healthy all those years, in order to compete in one of the most beautiful events of the year, without a doubt. I am very happy to win another one. For me, it is a very important day in my career."

DOUBLES - Bopanna And Cuevas Combine For Monte-Carlo Crown
The Indian-Uruguayan pairing required 74 minutes for victory
Indian Rohan Bopanna and Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas captured their first ATP World Tour team title on Sunday when they defeated seventh-seeded Spaniards Feliciano Lopez and Marc Lopez 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 in 74 minutes in the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters final. Bopanna and Cuevas earned 1,000 points in the Emirates ATP Doubles Rankings and share €253,950 in prize money.
Bopanna, who adds to his Aircel Chennai Open crown (w/Nedunchezhiyan) this year, is now 16-24 lifetime in doubles finals and 4-4 in ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title matches.

BR: Quite the mess at Britain vs Romania in Constanta. Play suspended a while after Romanian captain Ilie Nastase was thrown off the court.

BR: "The public, we ask them all the time to be respectful, but we cannot do anything." Simona Halep replying to ump's pleas to help with crowd.

@simonrbriggs
this mess began when umpire warned crowd about respecting the players and Nastase said "It's not the opera, what's your ----ing problem"

Then he was warned, argued further, got himself ejected. He left court with a "----ing a--hole" to referee and 2 "----ing bitches" to Brits

No one deserves this crap from Ilie Nastase, and no one deserves it less than @EleanorCrooksPA. Awesome reporter, mom, person. Fix it, ITF.

Tournament abbreviations

WC
= wildcard (given by the tournament to a player that could not get in on their ranking, or did not enter in time.

PR = protected ranking. This is used when a player has been out for a certain period of time due to injury (I think it's at least 6 months) and their ranking slips down to where they wouldn't get in on their current ranking.

Q = Qualifier.

A = Alternate. Used in qualifying when a player withdraws before their first match. Also used in main draw if there was no qualifying draw and the draw was full before the player withdrew.

LL = Lucky loser. A player that loses in qualifying (usually the final round unless none of the final round losers sign the lucky loser list) and gets into main draw when a main draw player withdraws before their first match.

SE = Special exempt. A player who signed into qualifying of a tournament, but was still playing in the previous week's tournament at the time the qualifying draw was done. This player can get a special exempt into the main draw the following week.
