CSUN women's tennis and coach Gary Victor finish outstanding 2015 season

A total of five Matadors earned 2015 All-Big West Women's Tennis honors and CSUN head coach Gary Victor was named Big West Coach of the Year, the league office announced. Sophomore Mickey Hsu earned First Team awards in both singles and doubles.
The California State University, Northridge (CSUN) women's tennis team enjoyed an outstanding 2015 season, finishing the year with a 15-6 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the Big West Conference. The Matadors tied for fourth in the competitive Big West and upended Hawai'i in a five-hour Big West Tournament Quarterfinal match. CSUN also recorded notable victories over nationally ranked foes like Dartmouth and UC Irvine and re-entered the ITA National Rankings as well.
Individually, the Matadors saw a strong sophomore class continue to lead the way. Mickey Hsu earned First Team All-Big West honors in both singles and doubles play. She competed primarily at No. 1 or No. 2 all season in singles and she and teammate Kristen Poei finished the season with a 16-4 record as a doubles tandem. Senior Criss Rodriguez earned Second Team All-Big West honors in singles play and sophomore Vivian Lin and freshman Kiryang Kim received Honorable Mention All-Big West honors for their play in doubles.
CSUN head coach Gary Victor was named Big West Conference Coach of the Year for leading the Matadors to such a successful season.
